Barrio - Grandview

As someone from Cleveland who’s been going to Barrio for years, I was curious about how the Columbus locations would stack up. So on a recent visit, I stopped by the Grandview Heights spot—and I was seriously impressed. The place was packed, even on a weeknight. There was a short wait for a table, but the staff handled the crowd like pros—super efficient and upbeat, and we were seated quicker than expected. The energy inside was great: loud in a fun way, with people clearly enjoying the food, drinks, and overall vibe.

First timer here. At first glance we were a little surprised at the price of the tacos, but we ordered and when they came out, we were not surprised anymore. They're HUGE! I was only able to eat one of my El Gringo tacos before I was stuffed, and my partner was only able to eat one of his as well. The taste and quality of the food was superb, the atmosphere is super cool (love the outdoor bar on this beautiful day!), the staff was very friendly, and we have a whole other meal waiting on us with the leftovers! A, definitely will be returning here again!

I’m typically completely against eating anywhere that serves food out of cardboard and plastic silverware. However, I’ll completely overlook it due to the food quality and healthy options available. Cauliflower rice, and skinny margaritas. Love the mango and pineapple as well. Creative options.

I love Barrio, but tonight, it was top tier. We came in about 8p and they were busy! We did wait a brief moment at the host stand, but once we sat, it was smooth sailing. Our server was great; funny, outgoing, easy to work with. The restaurant offered queso to us on the house since they knew there were busy and were afraid we may be waiting for service, we appreciate that. Food is top notch, and tonight was no different. Overall: we will be back and def recommend anyone to their establishment.

Ate here tonight with my friends and our dogs. Our server Meredith was awesome! The food was good except the bacon on the bombshell taco shell was super weird and did not taste at all like bacon. I will have to remove it to eat the rest of the taco

The food is delicious and the service is lovely. Meredith was our server and helped us with the ordering process and all our questions. I cannot stress enough how amazing Meredith was. The menu had more than enough options for personalizing our food everything we put in our mouths was amazing. Prices were very reasonable and the happy drinks were nice.

Can’t wait to go back! Chips with the FRESHEST, most flavorful guac. Everyone loved their tacos- some custom, others off the menu. Very generous portions. Unique drink selections and speedy, attentive bartender/server was the best (Audrey).

The food was okay but my server Ean... He was phenomenal! He made me feel very comfortable and was so friendly. He hooked us up on the good drinks and let’s just say I had a GOOD drink! I hope he is my server every time I go. For any first timers, he will definitely hook you up!
